Christine (Chris) Passwaters is an energetic and contagious senior leader and multi-talented retired businesswoman. She is happily married to Mike and together they have been blessed with 4 children, 6 grandchildren and a great grandchild.
God is very real in her faith-walk. When she gave her life to Jesus in the ’70’s, Chris heard the Lord’s voice audibly: “Teach Sunday school…” It was so loud and clear, she went around her house checking to make sure no one else was home. Troubled about the salvation of her parents, Chris prayed. That same evening while at Bible Study and in prayer, her teacher shared with Chris “word for word” what she had prayed that same morning along with God’s answer — “they would be saved!” Both parents are now home with our Lord. What an awesome God we serve!
As Chris leads Park Lane’s monthly gathering of “Seniors With A Purpose” (S.W.A.P), she thoroughly enjoys praise and worship, sharing how real Jesus is, encouraging senior-saints to use everyday for the will of God, and developing a fun network of volunteers.
